Welcome to my site! I used to maintain my site on my home institution’s server, but decided to move to my own host due to the flexibility of using my own Wordpress installation as well as other mysql/php open source software packages.
Professionally, I am the Emerging Web Technologies Librarian for Boatwright Memorial Library at the University of Richmond. Before moving into my current position I served as the Head of Access and Delivery Services. Before coming to UR, I was the Head of Access Services for the Tompkins-McCaw Library at Virginia Commonwealth University. I received my Masters of Library and Information Science from the University of North Carolina Greensboro.
Personally, I’m married and together we have two great kids who keep us very busy! Thanks for stopping by and I’d love to have some dialog about the changes in the field and future challenges.
